Title: Estate Administration and Tax Attorney

Location: Waltham, MA

Description: Waltham based, A.V. rated 36-year old law firm, seeking an estate administration and tax attorney with a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience to join, and contribute to, a growing segment of the practice. Responsibilities will include legal representation for estates through the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts; administration of trusts and estates with a varying degree of assets ranging from significant residential and commercial real estate holdings to family-owned businesses to concentrated stock holdings; preparation of Federal and state estate tax returns; preparation of fiduciary income tax returns; and preparation of individual income tax returns. Familiarity with the Uniform Probate Code, Uniform Trust Code, and Internal Revenue Code a requirement.

The successful candidate will have a sense of ownership of each case, and compassion for assisting clients in a difficult time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and precise attention to detail a must. Accounting background and/or LLM preferable.

Title: Trusts And Estate Administration Paralegal

Location: Waltham, MA

Description: Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys in the preparation of probate accounts, trust accounts, estate tax returns, affidavits, funding documents, fiduciary income tax returns, and related income and estate tax compliance documents. The candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational and computer skills, and balance the workload to ensure timely completion of work. Title: Estate Planning Paralegal

Location: Waltham, MA

Description: Responsibilities will include assisting attorneys in the drafting of estate planning documents including Last Will and Testament, trusts, health care proxies, living wills, deeds, trustee certificates, homesteads, and asset transfer documentation. Including investment accounts, qualified retirement accounts, life insurance etc. Communication skills to deal with broad base of clients is a must. Salary commensurate with experience.
