Biography
Teresa Hedley is an associate at Cushing & Dolan’s Waltham office. Her focus is on estate planning and trust administration. She drafts planning documents with the focus of helping clients achieve their estate planning goals, including minimizing estate taxes, avoiding probate, protection of assets from long term care costs, and transferring generational wealth. Teresa also manages the administration of clients’ trusts of which the firm is a Trustee.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law. While in law school, Teresa’s Trial Advocacy Team was awarded 1st runner up at the Northeast Black Law Students Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition. Prior to joining the firm, Teresa interned with the Honorable Fairlie Dalton of the Northeast Housing Court, as well as with the Legal Department at Red Hat. She previously worked for a small boutique firm as a legal assistant.
Award: Recipient of the Dean’s Award, Massachusetts School of Law.
