Catherine E. Aloisi worked as a paralegal at Cushing & Dolan while earning her Judicial Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School at night. She was welcomed as an associate immediately following law school and focused her practice in the areas of estate tax planning and long-term care planning. Catherine is experienced in basic estate planning as well as the use of more sophisticated techniques such as annual exclusion gifts, Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, GST Trusts and Dynasty Trusts. Additionally, Catherine is experienced in the preparation of long-term care applications and long-term care asset protection planning using various strategies including Medicaid Irrevocable Trusts, Annuities and Pooled Trusts.

After a brief absence from the work force, Catherine worked at Mendel & Associates, where in addition to estate tax and long-term care planning, she gained experience in estate and trust administration as well as the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Catherine rejoins Cushing & Dolan with more than a decade of experience, ready to provide competent advice and tailored documents specific to the needs of each client.
