Areas of Practice
Margaret Cross focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust law, estate administration, and long term care planning.  She works with clients to reduce their estate plans and lifetime gift programs in a manner which will best achieve their objectives, which range from reducing federal and state estate taxes to planning for the costs of nursing home care.  Ms. Cross has extensive experience with the preparation and filing of Medicaid applications as well.

Ms. Cross also has experience working with clients whose objective is creditor protection.  She has worked with clients to establish limited liability companies and family limited partnerships.

She joined Cushing & Dolan in January 2000.

Ms. Cross is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Massachusetts.
