Paula Bartlett Esq.
Paula has been an attorney at Cushing & Dolan for a little more than 8 years. Initially, her practice concentrated in the area of corporate where she represented clients in the drafting and implementation of buy-sell agreements, redemption agreements and corporate reorganization. She has since expanded her practice to include developing and preparing estate plans, including revocable trusts, joint trusts, irrevocable life insurance trust, sales to intentionally defective trusts, incorporating the use and benefits of limited liability companies, limited partnerships and holding companies for business succession purposes within the family structure; and medicaid and asset protection for the elderly through the use of income only irrevocable trusts. It is Paula's goal to utilize those estate planning vehicles which best serve the needs of her clients.
Paula was also a vice president at BNY Mellon for two years where she was employed in the estate settlement area. While at BNY Mellon Paula was responsible for administering estates worth on the average of $10-20 million dollars. Her responsibilities included trust analysis, collecting and distributing assets and making timely and crucial post mortem elections.
