Matthew B. Guanci Esq.
Matthew B. Guanci is a member of the Tax and Estate Planning Group.
Matthew has designed multi-million dollar estate planning transactions, including installment sales to Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts (IDGTs), multi-generational dynastic Irrevocable Life Insurances Trusts (ILITs) and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs). He has also drafted irrevocable asset protection trusts, such as Medicaid trusts, in order to protect against expensive nursing home care.
He has used Limited Liability Companies, Family Limited Partnerships, S Corporations and other corporate entities for enhanced asset protection strategies and gifting programs.
He has also prepared Federal individual income tax returns (Form 1040), and trust and estate income tax returns (Form 1041), as well as Federal gift (Form 709) and estate tax (Form 706) returns.
Mr. Guanci received his B.S. in Management with a concentration in Economics at the Boston College Carroll School of Management, his J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, and his LL.M. in Tax and Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law's Heckerling Institute.
